the head of an alchemical institute in germany. he would wake me up at 6 every morning to make tea in my trailer, as it was the only one with running water, while camping out doing an alchemist intensive retreat in washington state. on one such occasion he told me that, beginning when he was a child, he had recurring dreams which continued throughout his life of being an old alchemist imprisoned in a tower, persecuted during the christen or medieval era - but at moments he found he was able to rise & walk above unseen in the air)
